KELLIE VIZZUSO each had a goal helping No. 10 Montclair State remain unbeaten with 2-0 victory over Cortland at Sprague Field on Saturday.

NICOLE ANDRIANI made five saves recording her second shutout as the Red Hawks are off to a 4-0 start for the second straight season. Kailynne Reinoehl stopped four shots for the Red Dragons
who fell to 2-2 on the young season.
Reinoehl kept the Red Hawks off the board through the first 22 minutes making three saves before MSU broke through in the 23
rd minute off a penalty corner.
AMBER HASLETT fired a shot from the top of the circle that was deflected at the doorstep by Prestinari for a 1-0 lead.
Montclair's advantage would get to two goals five minutes later as the Red Hawks were awarded a penalty stroke that Vizzuso converted for the 2-0 advantage with 8:59 left.
Trailing by two goals, Cortland nearly cut the deficit in half in the first five minutes of the second period as Amanda Glaser flipped a shot that got over the head of Andriani and rolled toward the goal. However, Haslett was able to prevent the ball from going in keeping the Red Hawks lead at 2-0.
Adriani stopped three more shots, including back-to-back attempts by Valerie Brillaud and Molly Quinlan with 21 minutes to play.
Montclair State outshot Cortland, 10-8 and held a 9-2 advantage in penalty corners.
After opening the year with four consecutive home games, Montclair goes on the road for the next five games. The first will be in Hoboken, NJ on Wednesday, September 12 against Stevens at 8:00 pm.
