EDDIE EMEDOH registered a double-double of 20 points and 10 rebounds however Montclair State could not overcome a first-half deficit as the Red Hawks fell to Ramapo 75-69 at the Bradley Center on Wednesday evening.

AKBAR HOFFMAN had 19 points for MSU, which fell to 12-6 overall, 7-4 in the NJAC. Kashaun Barnes posted 18 points leading four Roadrunners in double figures as Ramapo (14-5, 8-4 NJAC) earned a split of the season series.
Ramapo used a seven-point burst at the end of the first half to take a 44-36 lead into the break. That advantage would get to eight points early in the second before MSU fought back to tie the game at 51-51 on a jumper by
IRVING CALLENDER IV with 14:29 to play. The Roadrunners regained the lead on their next possession and managed to build a 66-59 advantage with 6:46 to go after Rob Lewis connected twice from the line.
Hoffman later scored four straight including a tip-in with 1:59 to play bringing Montclair within 69-66. But Rob McWilliams drilled a three with 63 seconds left to boost the lead back to six with Jason Battle adding a foul shot making the score 73-67 with 37 ticks. The Roadrunners added three more at the line before a three-by the Red Hawks'
JOSEPH RADI made the final margin.
Radi finished with 11 points for MSU which got eight points from Callender.
JORDAN ROBERSON pulled down eight rebounds with
JALEN PARHAM collecting five points, seven rebounds and four assists.
Montclair State is back home for its next contest on Saturday, January 26 taking on The College of New Jersey at 1:00 pm.
