Montclair, NJ - DeSales' Sam Riccardi headed home her first goal of the season with just four seconds left in the second OT to upend Montclair State University, 2-1, in non-conference action on Tuesday evening.
Meghan Corban lifted the last second corner and was able to find Riccardi for the game winner.
LINDSAY FREEWALT made eight saves in the loss for the Red Hawks (6-3-2).

t was able to finish a rebound that was deflected off the post following a shot from Meghan Foley. DeSales would hold onto the 1-0 advantage at the half with their relentless attack.
DeSales out shot the Red Hawks 15-3 in the opening half. Eight of the 15 shots were on target as MSU registered only two shots on net in the first 45 minutes.
EMILY BEENDERS netted the equalizer in the 70th minute as she perfectly lofted the ball in the top left corner over the out stretched arms of Bulldogs goalie Lia Gaccione.
EMILY DEGEYTER tallied the assist after a nice settle and outlet at midfield.
Montclair was able to limit the Bulldogs to only three shots in the second half to force overtime.
MSU was the only team to threaten in the first overtime, but both Red Hawk attempts were saved by Gaccione.
Montclair State is back in action on Friday, October 4 as they travel to face Rutgers-Newark at 7:30 p.m.
