Glassboro, NJ – The Montclair State volleyball team had its seven-match winning streak halted on Tuesday as the Red Hawks fell to Rowan University 3-1 at Esby Gym.
Megan Jacobi and Natalie Ogden recorded 18 and 14 kills respectively as the Profs (10-9, 3-1 NJAC) captured the first two sets by the scores of 25-23 and 25-22. The Red Hawks won the third set 25-20 but the Profs rebounded to seal the match with a 25-22 win in set four.

JILLIAN WILSON finished with 11 kills for Montclair State, which dropped to 12-4 overall, 2-2 in NJAC play. Classmate
CARLY WATERMAN added 10 kills as
VICTORIA TENNON chipped in with seven kills.
MEGAN O'ROURKE had 40 assists and 14 digs for MSU, which hit just .130 on the night.
MADDIE VALKO tallied a team-high 26 digs in the setback.
Cassidy Abdalla and Kailey Gallagher registered double digit kills with 11 and 10 apiece for the Profs. Ogden picked up a double-double with 26 digs in the win.
The Red Hawks are back in action on Friday, October 4 as they host Manhattanville College at 7 p.m.
