SYDNEE SAPP scored three times and Montclair State got multiple goals from three others as the Red Hawks rolled to an 11-1 victory over Farmingdale State on Thursday afternoon.

MICHAELAH REYNOLDS each scored twice as MSU won its third straight improving to 3-1 on the season. The Red Hawks posted their fifth straight victory against its former Skyline Conference foe as the teams met for the first time since 2016. Montclair State leads the all-time series 12-4.
Montclair provided all the scoring in the first half as the Red Hawks registered seven goals. Graver got the first 1:55 into the game with Andreula recording her first two minutes late. Reynolds and Sapp scored 50 seconds apart to push the lead to 4-0 before Reynolds notched her second with 16:16 remaining.
CASEY PROVOST scored her first of the season 25 seconds later with Andreula widening the lead to 7-0 with three minutes to go before halftime.
Alexandra Sparrow put the Rams (0-3) on the board with 19:34 remaining in the second half. That was answered by
MEGAN MAHLSTADT, who scored two minutes later making the score 8-1. Graver tallied her second with six minutes left before Sapp collected the final two goals.
Mahlstadt recorded a pair of assists while
BRITTANY COSTIGAN pulled down seven draws.
MEGHAN GORMAN led the Red Hawks with four caused turnovers with
DANA SUSSE forcing three.
AMANDA MAGUIRE had four saves for the Red Hawks while
ALLYN LILIEN stopped a pair of attempts. Iyana Hudson made 13 for Farmingdale State.
Montclair State is now off until Tuesday, March 12 when it heads to Maryland. The Red Hawks take on Stevenson University at 4:00 pm.
