Manheim. PA = The Montclair State field hockey team dropped its second straight contest as the 11^th-ranked Red Hawks fell to Washington and Lee, 1-0 at the Spooky Nook Complex on Saturday afternoon.

The Generals (3-5) outshot MSU (6-3) 23-1 in the contest however it wasn't until the early moments of the four period that W&L was able to get the game's only goal. That came from Stella Noels off an assist by Lauren Paolano.

Senior goalkeeper NICOLE ANDRIANI kept the Red Hawks in the game stopping a season-high 15 shots.

The Red Hawks look to get back on the winning track on Friday, October 4 hosting Muhlenberg College at Sprague Field beginning at 7pm. It is the first of back-to-back contests for MSU which faces York College (PA) the following day (October 5) at 4pm.
