ELIZABETH CIMILLUCA tallied late as No. 13 Montclair State remained unbeaten following a 2-0 victory over Cortland on Saturday afternoon.

NICOLE ANDRIANI stopped four shots for her third straight shutout as the Red Hawks improved to 4-0 on the season. It is the fourth straight season MSU has opened the year with four consecutive victories. Montclair also registered its seventh straight victory versus the Red Dragons (2-1).
Montclair got on the board with 1:22 remaining in the first period taking advantage of a penalty corner.
KELLIE VIZZUSO inserted a pass to Watson, who ripped a shot into the back of the cage for her second goal of the season and a 1-0 MSU lead.
Andriani helped maintain that lead making three saves in the third period and another to start the fourth before Montclair added an insurance goal in the fourth. Cimilluca scored with 12:28 left in the fourth from five yards out, her third of the season. Montclair State's defense did the rest holding Cortland without a shot the rest of the way.
MSU outshot Cortland 12-10 in the contest and had the edge in penalty corners, 7-6.
The Red Hawks are back in action on Wednesday, September 11 hosting in-state rival Stevens at Sprague Field beginning at 7:00 pm.
