Box Score Glassboro, NJ – Rowan University's Julia Patrone scored twice and assisted on a goal as the No. 11-ranked Profs knocked off Montclair State 6-0 in the NJAC opener for both teams on Friday afternoon.
Krystyna Hovell also had two goals, and Liz Fox added a goal and assist for the Profs (6-2, 1-0 NJAC).

LAUREN PICKUL recorded a career-best 18 saves for Montclair State, which fell to 5-3 (0-1 NJAC) on the year.
Patrone put Rowan on the scoreboard midway through the first period as she knocked in a loose ball from the left side. The Profs added three more in the second to build a 4-0 advantage at the half. Kristina Castagnola got the first goal with a backhand shot into the upper corner from seven yards out. Liz Fox extended the lead to 4-0 banging in a rebound with Hovell netting the first of her two scores a minute later.
Hovell tallied with 3:39 left in the third quarter before Patrone got her second in the fourth.
The Red Hawks are back in action on Wednesday, October 6 hosting the defending conference champion William Paterson at Sprague Field at 7:00 pm.
