Montclair, NJ – The Montclair State women's soccer team heads to Stockton University Saturday afternoon.

LAST TIME OUT
The Red Hawks (7-3, 3-1 NJAC) suffered their first conference loss of the season Saturday, falling 3-1 to No. 1 The College of New Jersey. In the ninth minute, Junior SOFIA AMBROSIO opened the scoring, but TCNJ tallied three first-half tallies for the win. HALEY MARTIN and LINDSAY FREEWALT each made four saves while playing 45 minutes.

SCOUTING THE OSPREYS
The Ospreys enter the match with a 9-2-2 record, including a 3-0-1 mark in the NJAC. They suffered a 3-2 setback to NYU Tuesday but knocked off Kean 3-2 in overtime on Saturday. Allie Magas scored the game-winning goal with 1:06 left in the first overtime period.

LAST MEETING
Montclair earned a 1-0 victory over Stockton on April 10, 2021. AILEEN CAHILL scored the game's lone goal in the 26th minute off a feed from LAUREN ERNST, while PHOEBE BLEDSOE made five saves in goal to earn the win.

SERIES HISTORY
Stockton holds a 19-14-11 overall record, but Montclair has earned a win or tie in the last four matchups. In 2019 and 2021 (Spring), Montclair knocked off Stockton in the NJAC Semifinals to move onto the Championship Match.
