MEGAN MAHLSTADT scored four goals and assisted on three others as No. 23 Montclair State posted its third straight victory knocking off Kean University, 14-5 at Alumni Stadium on Tuesday afternoon.

AMBER GONZALEZ and Mahlstadt put the Red Hawks up 2-0 in the first seven minutes before Kean's Dana Meehan scored twice, the latter with 11:09 left, tying the game at 2-2. MSU would put together and eight goal run bridging the two halves to pull away.
TRISTIN KONEN connected with 8:26 to play and
HALEY DORAN followed three minutes later for a 4-2 lead.
KAITLYN ARCEDE set up
CLARE ECKELS with under two minutes to play with Gonzalez scoring with 21 seconds left sending the Red Hawks into the break with a 6-2 lead.
Mahlstadt opened the second half with an unassisted tally and set up Arcede 80 seconds later making the score 8-2. Konen scored again 16 seconds later with Mahlstadt completing the run with 25:54 to play putting the Red Hawks in front 10-2.
