Center Valley, PA – DeSales' Allie Trick scored 12 minutes into the second half which proved to be the difference as the Bulldogs knocked off Montclair State, 2-1 at on Wednesday afternoon.
Meghan Foley had a goal as DeSales remained unbeaten on the year at 5-0. The Bulldogs have won both meetings between the teams by identical margins having registered a 2-1 win at MSU Soccer Park on October 1, 2019.

ZOE STECK collected her third goal of the season for the Red Hawks, who fell to 3-2. Both of MSU's losses have been by the same 2-1 score.
Foley put the host Bulldogs on the board five minutes into the match with her first goal of the season. Natalie Dorsheimer tapped a pass to Foley, who one-touched the feed to the end line before slipping it by Montclair keeper
LINDSAY FREEWALT for the 1-0 lead.
Freewalt made two more saves in the half to keep the deficit at one. Meanwhile, MSU tallied four shots in the first 45 minutes, however all four attempts went wide of the goal.
Trick made it a two-goal lead in the 58
th minute with her fifth tally of the year. Kerrigan de Meij got the assist.
Montclair answered two minutes later as a shot by
AILEEN CAHILL was stopped by keeper Hanna Pacheco leading to a corner kick. The Red Hawks would cash in as Steck scored trimming the lead to 2-1.
Pacheco finished with three saves while
HALEY MARTIN had one for the Red Hawks. DeSales held a 14-11 advantage in shots with MSU taking eight of the 13 corner kicks in the match.
Montclair State returns to action on Saturday, September 18 as the defending conference champion Red Hawks begin conference play at MSU Soccer Park with a 1:00 pm kickoff. MSU defeated the Scarlet Raptors 1-0 back in April to claim the league title.
