Montclair, NJ – The Montclair State women's basketball team hosts Ithaca College Friday evening.

LAST TIME OUT
The Red Hawks (1-0) erased an 11-point deficit with 5:34 to go to top Vassar 62-57 in their home opener Tuesday. MEGAN DUFFY tallied a team-high 17 points as NICKIE CARTER added 14 points, six rebounds, and six steals. Montclair State, who trailed for most of the game, led by one with 33 seconds left before ISABELLA ORLANDO drained a corner three to stretch the lead to four.

SCOUTING ITHACA 
The Bombers registered a 64-55 triumph over SUNY Cortland Tuesday evening. Ithaca trailed by seven with 4:01 to go and forced overtime on an Emily Dorn layup. The Bombers outscored the Red Dragons 11-2 in the extra session to claim the win.

SERIES HISTORY
Montclair is 2-2 against Ithaca, with the teams trading wins and losses. Montclair won 59-57 on December 1, 1989, and 77-62 on November 15, 2015, as the Bombers notched victories in 1995 and 2017.

LAST MEETING
The Red Hawks fell 66-56 to Ithaca on November 18, 2017. Taylor Harmon scored 18 points for the Red Hawks as Kate Tobie handed out seven assists to go with eight points.
