LAST TIME OUT
The Red Hawks (2-2) fell to Stevens 80-61 Saturday afternoon. NICKIE CARTER and TERESA WOLAK tied for the team lead with 18 points, with Wolak adding seven rebounds and four assists. MAHOGANY WORSLEY-WOOTEN added six points off the bench as SHANNON HUGHES chipped in six in her first career start.

SCOUTING NJCU
The Gothic Knights are 0-2 on the season but have not played a Division III opponent yet. They suffered a 79-70 setback to Division I Monmouth on November 10 and faced off against Division I Delaware State Monday night.

SERIES HISTORY
Montclair is 69-6 against NJCU but has lost three of the last four meetings. All three setbacks have been by four points or less. Before their setback on February 27, 2021, Montclair State had won 37 consecutive meetings.

LAST MEETING
The Red Hawks fell 68-67 in the NJAC Quarterfinals on February 22, 2022. Montclair led by eight entering the fourth quarter and led by five with 2:32 left after a triple from Julia Sutton. The Gothic Knights pulled even with 51 seconds to go, but a free throw by Montclair made it 67-66 with three left. Damaris Rodriguez hit a layup at the buzzer to send NJCU into the NJAC Semifinals.
