Montclair, NJ – The Montclair State field hockey team hosts Franklin & Marshall Saturday evening.

LAST TIME OUT
The Red Hawks (0-3) fell to DeSales University 3-0 in their home opener Wednesday evening. LAUREN PICKUL made 10 saves in the setback, while CARLIE VAN TASSEL had four shots on goal.

SCOUTING F&M
The Diplomats are 2-1 on the season and notched wins in each of their first two contests. Their second victory was a 2-0 triumph over No. 16 Christopher Newport on September 4.

SERIES HISTORY
Each side has notched a win in the previous two games, but the two teams have not met since 2017. Montclair State notched a 3-1 win in 2004 before F&M tallied a victory in 2017.

LAST MEETING
The Red Hawks and Diplomats last met in the Second Round of the NCAA Tournament on November 11, 2017. Kelly Watson got the Red Hawks on the board in the 15th minute, tipping in an Amber Haslett shot. Franklin & Marshall recorded the following two markers, including the game-winning goal in the 61st minute.
