Montclair State went on a 7-1 rally to pull in front, taking advantage of four unforced errors during the run. A Ramsey attack error leveled the set a 22, but Montclair claimed the following three points punctuated by consecutive kills from Ramsey.

Montclair State led 13-4 early as GIANNA ARIAS, DELANEY ST. PIERRE, and LEAH HIGGINS slammed home kills early on. The Colonels battled back and trimmed the deficit to one before Montclair State used an 8-2 run to finish the match, including a 6-0 spurt to close the game.
