Field Hockey: Gameday Preview vs. RPI

Montclair, NJ – The Montclair State field hockey team welcomes RPI to campus for a matchup Sunday afternoon.

GAME INFO
Game time at Sprague Field is scheduled for 3 pm, with live stats and video available on montclairathletics.com. Video links can also be found on the Red Hawk Sports Network YouTube Channel.

LAST TIME OUT
The Red Hawks (2-4) topped Muhlenberg 3-1 Saturday behind goals from TORI SUTERA, GAB MAISTO, and CARLY AMERMAN. Sutera opened the scoring in the 4th minute before Maisto had a penalty stroke in the 21st. Amerman delivered her first collegiate goal in the 44th, rifling a shot from the top of the circle off a corner.

SCOUTING RPI
The Engineers are 4-2 on the season, winning three straight after a 4-1 loss to Hamilton on September 6. They topped Brockport 4-1, Keystone 2-1 in overtime, and Castleton 6-2.

SERIES HISTORY
Montclair is 12-2 all-time against RPI, winning three consecutive games. Their best stretch came from 2006-2014, when they had nine straight before an RPI win in 2016.
