Montclair, NJ – The No. 12/14 Montclair State women's soccer hosts Stockton in their New Jersey Athletic Conference home-opener Wednesday.

SCOUTING STOCKTON
The Ospreys are 5-4-1 on the season and 0-1-0 in the NJAC. They went 3-0-1 during a four-game stretch in mid-September but have dropped two since. Stockton fell to Rutgers-Newark 4-1 in their NJAC opener Saturday, surrendering three second-half goals.

SERIES HISTORY
The Red Hawks are 14-20-11 all-time against Stockton and had their four-game unbeaten streak against the Ospreys snapped last season. From October 8, 2011 – October 13, 2018, Montclair State had its best stretch in the series, going 7-0-2 against Stockton.

LAST MEETING
Stockton came away with a 1-0 triumph on October 9, 2021, as Jessica Heitmann scored the lone goal in the 49th minute. Montclair had a pair of chances in the final minute to find the equalizer, but TARA LAMBERT hit the crossbar, and the Osprey keeper denied the rebound.
