  • Montclair continued to generate scoring chances throughout the first half as they put three more shots on frame.
  • The home side struck for the match's only goal in the 78th minute, as LYNETH RESTREPO found SHANNON MULLINS on the far side of the field. Mullins took a few steps forward and sent in a ball that was flicked into the net by AILEEN CAHILL.

FROM THE FIELD
"It was a classic NJAC rock fight. I didn't love the way we participated in the first half. In the second half, I thought we were excellent; our energy was up, we were cleaner around the ball, and that constant, relentless pressure you need to break down Rutgers-Camden was evident. Great ball in, and it gets to the kid you want to get to, Aileen [Cahill] with another huge goal. Onward and upward, and it's going to be another one on Wednesday night. We know Kean is a good team that's going to be super organized and excited for it, so another opportunity to play good soccer." - Head Coach Patrick Naughter

UP NEXT
