Bethlehem, Pa. – The No. 6 Montclair State University men's soccer team clipped Moravian University 1-0 in non-conference action Wednesday.

HOW IT HAPPENED

• The two sides traded shots in the opening 12 minutes, with both goalkeepers recording saves. The Red Hawks continued to pepper the goal, with OWEN MURPHY and AMER LUKOVIC placing attempts on frame that the Moravian keeper sent away.
• Montclair broke through in the 32nd minute, as Murphy found Lukovic, and the junior buried the try for his team-leading eighth marker of the season. The visitors rode the momentum into the break with a 1-0 lead, outshooting the Greyhounds 12-2 over the 45 minutes.
• ANDRE SHELTON's 53rd-minute shot was denied by goalie Christian Beebe, and the Red Hawks' stingy held the Greyhounds shot-less over the first 38 minutes of the second period. Montclair pressed on, looking for an additional goal late as Murphy's attempt was stopped.
• The defense limited Moravian to one shot in the second half, cementing the 1-0 road triumph.

• Lukovic has scored in all five contests this season and moved into the top spot in the country with his eighth marker.
• Murphy and Shelton recorded three shots.
• Keenan made one save in the clean sheet, earning his third victory of the campaign.
