Glassboro, NJ - The Montclair State Women's Swimming and Diving team suffered their first loss of the season in their road trip at Rowan on Friday night, 143-119.
HOW IT HAPPENED
- ROURKE PERALTA led the way with three first-place finishes in her individual events. He notched her wins in the 50 free (24.11), 100 free (54.17) and the 200 free (1:58.69).
- JULIE TIEDEMANN also collected a win tonight in a 1000 free when she clocked a 11:06.85. She also placed third in the 500 free 5:27.90.
- SOPHIA SHOPOVICK and MADELINE ROGERS both individually saw second place finishes tonight. Shopovick touched the wall second in the 100 back with a time of 1:00.83 while Rogers notched second in the 100 fly with a time of 1:01.70.
- LILI SHAY rounded out the second-place finishes when she clocked a 1:09.08 in the 100 breast
- The 200 medley relay quartet of Shopovick, ABBY BROCK, MADDY WISHNOW and Peralta placed first in the event with a team time of 1:49.87.
