Montclair, NJ - Prior to the start of the 2024-25 season, Montclair State University Women's Basketball announced the addition of a "Director of Pawsitivity" to their support staff. Charley, a two year old golden retriever, was featured on ABC7 New York and People, as well as Sportscenter's social media accounts, for her role with the team, its student-athletes, coaches, and fans.

Women's Basketball has won its first three games of the campaign, its hottest start since the 2016-17 season. The Red Hawks will host Valley Forge on Thursday, November 21 in their next contest, with tip-off from the Panzer Athletic Center scheduled for 6:00 PM.
