Montclair, NJ – The Montclair State University women's basketball hosts Rowan on Wednesday evening in the regular season finale for both sides.

The Red Hawks (8-16, 5-12 NJAC) fell to Kean 92-60 on Saturday, February 10. Montclair and Kean battled closely in the first quarter, but the Cougars used a strong offensive second quarter to pull away. OLIVIA VERO tallied a team-best 17 points while grabbing five rebounds. KATIE STOVALL set a career-high 10 points off the bench, with the Montclair bench outsourcing Kean's 27-20 in the contest.

SCOUTING ROWAN
The Profs hold a 12-12 record on the season and enter with a 9-8 mark in NJAC play. After losing three out of four in conference play from January 17-27, Rowan responded with wins in three out of their most recent four games, including a 65-49 victory over Rutgers-Newark on Saturday, February 10. The Profs placed four in double-figures, led by Kate Herlihy with 16 points. Rowan holds the sixth and final spot in the NJAC Women's Basketball Tournament with one game to go.

SERIES HISTORY
Montclair is 56-38 all-time against the Profs, but Rowan has won six of the last seven meetings after the Red Hawks won 11 straight. The two sides split the regular season series last year, with each team winning on their home court.

LAST MEETING
The Red Hawks fell to Rowan 60-36 on Wednesday, January 10. Montclair jumped out to an early 16-3 lead after 10 minutes of play behind a three-point barrage. Rowan opened the second quarter with eight-straight points and later closed the half with nine-straight to take a two-point lead into the break. The Profs kicked off the second half with 11 consecutive points and did not relinquish the lead the remainder of the contest. KENDALL HODGES led Montclair with 11 points.
