Montclair, NJ – The Red Hawks collected their first win of the season pushing past FDU-Florham Saturday afternoon at home, 13-2.
  
HOW IT HAPPENED
	- CARA MCCARTNEY scored the first goal of the season for the RedHawks in the tenth minute of the first quarter. Nine minutes later, KAELEY SEK increased the Red Hawks lead, 2-0 with the assist from CHELSEA STACK.
 
	- JOEY GROTKOPF held off the visiting Devils in the first quarter tallying three saves to keep the Red Hawks up.
 
	- Six more goals were scored in the second quarter by the Red Hawks to put them up 8-1 going into the half, two by Sek and one each from NORAH MONAGHAN, LEXI ROBINSON, SAMANTHA HANDZO, and KYRA MORENA.
 
	- The Devils could not get a shot past Grotkopf in the second half as she tallied six more saves.
 
	- The Red Hawks scored twice more in the third quarter off a free-position goal by Monaghan and another goal from McCartney.
 
	- In the fourth, Monaghan picked up her third goal while Morena and Robinson each picked up their second goal of the season, extending the Red Hawks lead to 13-1. 
 
	- The Devils scored once more with 16 seconds left in the game to reach the final score of 13-2. 
 
INSIDE THE BOX SCORE
	- Sek packed the stat line of her first collegiate game with three goals, four shots on goal, five caused turnovers and four ground balls. She was one of two Montclair players who earned a hat trick, Monaghan being the second. 
 
	- The Red Hawks had six different players score, five out of six scored multiple times.
