Montclair, NJ– The Montclair State Women's Lacrosse Team secured a win Wednesday night 19-8 against Eastern Connecticut State. 
  
HOW IT HAPPENED

• The Red Hawks were up 4-3 at the end of the first quarter. Goals came from KAELEY SEK, CHELSEA STACK, CARA MCCARTNEY, and SAMANTHA HANDZO. Two of the four goals were assisted by Stack.
• The Warriors scored first in the second quarter 47 seconds in tying the game 4-4. 
• Sek scored the only four goals for the Red Hawks in the second quarter, one a man down goal off yet another assist from Stack. The Red Hawks went into halftime up 4-4.
• The Red Hawks scored twice more in the third quarter before the Warriors scored again. One from NORAH MONAGHAN and one from LEXI ROBINSON. 
• Three goals were scored in 23 seconds for the Red Hawks, Sek and Stack, both assisted from Robinson, and AMRA LUKOVIC to end the third quarter up 15-6. 
• Robinson scored off a Stack assist in the eighth minute to help secure the lead for the Red Hawks. They would score three more times and hold a consistent lead to end the game up 19-8.

INSIDE THE BOX SCORE

• KAELEY SEK led both teams with seven goals, her highest scoring game this season. She will now live on the most goals in a game list sitting at 7th overall. 
• CHELSEA STACK led both teams with nine points, five of those points off of assists. She tied her assists in a game record tonight.
