LAST TIME OUT
Montclair defeated Marywood 4-3 on September 1 at Sprague Field behind a three-goal opening quarter. SADIE EICHLIN broke the scoring open in the 11th minute on a penalty stroke, and GAB MAISTO doubled the advantage three and a half minutes later on a shot off a feed from a KASEY WATSON penalty corner. The Red Hawks added a third in the final moments of the first quarter, as Watson slotted the ball from another penalty corner to KYLIE COMPTON, who sent a shot through the defense and into the low corner of the net. After Marywood scored early in the second half, BELLA HEISER pushed the advantage back to three. The visitors made a late push with two goals in the final minutes, but the Red Hawks held on for the victory.

SCOUTING HUSSON
The Eagles enter Saturday's contest with a 2-0 mark and back-to-back shutouts to begin the campaign. They cruised past Russell Sage 12-0 in their opener and blanked Saint Joseph's Maine 3-0 in their most recent contest on September 1. Husson went 9-5 during the 2023 season, outscoring opponents 68-25 and posting six shutouts. They rattled off four wins to close the regular season and took down the University of Maine at Farmington and Thomas College in the North Athletic Conference Tournament.
