Montclair State University Athletics Partners with Influxer on NIL Opportunities

Montclair, NJ - Montclair State University Athletics has partnered with Influxer to be its official partner in name, image, and likeness, the department announced on Monday.

Founded in 2022, Influxer was created with the goal of connecting student-athletes to the necessary resources within the NIL market. With over 44,000 student-athletes across more than 400 universities in the country, the company offers the chance to sell personalized merchandise with their school's officially licensed branding.

Influxer is also committed to providing student-athletes with the necessary education to succeed in the new NIL environment. One-on-one coaching is available through Influxer staff on topics ranging from social media marketing to reading contracts. Additionally, Influxer offers paid internships to student-athletes on most campus partners to assist in many facets of the company.

"Our partnership with Influxer is an exciting opportunity for our student-athletes to enter into the world of NIL," said Associate Vice President and Director of Athletics & Recreation Rob Chesney. "Influxer's resources will provide our student-athletes with what they need to build and grow their personal brand. This partnership will help us continue to enhance the experience for our student-athletes both in and out of competition."

Influxer's Montclair store will host apparel of whichever student-athletes opts into the program, along with their own personalized site. Merchandise includes shirts, sweatshirts, jerseys, hats, and more, with all designs being approved by the university and more being rolled out throughout the year.

They see this as not simply a transactional opportunity, but as an opportunity to develop long term skills for life," said Keith Miller, the Vice President of Influxer.
