Women’s Swimming & Diving Breaks 800 Free Relay Record on Day One of NJAC Championships

Hampton, Virginia – The Montclair State Women's Swimming & Diving team broke the 800 free relay record as they kicked off day one of the 2025 NJAC Championships.
 
HOW IT HAPPENED
  • Representing the Red Hawks in the lone event of the day was the team of MARIANNE TASSINARI, CATTY GEYER, JULIANA SKOPP-CARDILLO, and JULIE TIEDEMANN. They clocked an overall time of 7:48.19. That was good for a fifth-place finish among the field.
  • The record fell from last year's NJAC Championship when the same quartet clocked a 7:48.92
  • Montclair currently sits in sixth place with 52 points after day one.

UP NEXT
  • Day two of the NJAC Championships will begin with their two-day sessions. The trial session is set for a 9:30 am start with the final's session beginning at 5:30 pm.
