Women’s Soccer Releases 2025 Season Schedule

Montclair, NJ — The Montclair State University women's soccer team, led by Head Coach Patrick Naughter, announced its 2025 season schedule on Monday afternoon.

The upcoming campaign features 18 games, with 10 contests set to take place at Pittser Field at MSU Soccer Park and the remaining eight on the road. The Red Hawks will also compete in nine New Jersey Athletic Conference (NJAC) matchups.

Montclair State opens the season with back-to-back home games over Labor Day weekend, starting against the United States Coast Guard Academy on Friday, August 29, followed by Johnson & Wales on Sunday, August 31. A third consecutive home game is scheduled for Wednesday, September 6, against Mount Saint Vincent.

The Red Hawks will then alternate locations over their next five non-conference games. They'll visit Penn State Berks (Monday, September 8), Manhattanville (Sunday, September 14), and Moravian (Wednesday, September 24), while hosting SUNY New Paltz (Thursday, September 11) and Stevens (Thursday, September 18).

NJAC play begins on Saturday, September 27, during Montclair State's Homecoming, as the Red Hawks host New Jersey City University. They'll then travel to face Kean University on Wednesday, October 1, before returning home for a rematch of the 2024 NJAC Championship game against The College of New Jersey.

Montclair will play its final non-conference match on the road at Western Connecticut on Wednesday, October 8. The Red Hawks then close out the regular season with six NJAC contests—hosting Rowan (Saturday, October 18), Ramapo (Wednesday, October 22), and Rutgers-Camden (Wednesday, October 29), while visiting Rutgers-Newark (Saturday, October 11), William Paterson (Wednesday, October 15), and Stockton (Saturday, October 25).

The NJAC Tournament begins with the quarterfinals on Saturday, November 1, followed by the semifinals on Tuesday, November 4, and the championship game on Friday, November 7. The tournament winner will receive an automatic bid to the NCAA Division III Tournament.

Montclair State aims to build on a strong 2024 season in which the Red Hawks posted an 11-6-5 (6-2-1 NJAC) record, secured the third seed in the NJAC Tournament, and advanced to the conference finals.
