Pitman, NJ- Announced on Thursday afternoon by the New Jersey Athletic Conference (NJAC) office, the Montclair State University women's soccer team is predicted to finish third in the conference this season, according to the NJAC Coaches' Preseason poll.
Here is how the poll was voted on by the league:

- Kean (dark horse)
- Stockton
- Rutgers-Camden
- NJCU
- Rutgers-Newark
- William Paterson
- Ramapo
Rowan steps into the driver's seat of the league as the predicted winner; however, the league still may run through The College of New Jersey, which is seeking its third-straight conference title and seventh in nine years.
The Red Hawks finished the 2024 season with an overall record of 11-6-5. A 6-2-1 NJAC record saw them enter the NJAC Tournament as the three seed, where overtime wins of 1-0 against Kean and 2-1 against Rowan, propelled them to the NJAC Finals, where they were defeated by TCNJ, 4-1.
Montclair State University kicks off its search for its fifth NJAC title on Friday, August 29, at 1:00 p.m., when they play host to Coast Guard.
