SCOUTING CORTLAND
The Red Dragons enter this game being ranked the #12 team in the country according to the NFHCA Division III Preseason Poll. In 2024, Cortland finished 18-2 and was 4-0 in the SUNYAC Conference. They defeated Oswego, 7-0, and New Paltz, 2-1, to notch their third-straight SUNYAC title and punched their ticket to the NCAA Tournament. In the first round, they defeated Ohio Wesleyan, 2-1, before falling 5-1 in the second round to Johns Hopkins. According to the 2025 SUNYAC Preseason Poll, the Red Dragons are projected second with the new addition of Salisbury taking the top spot

SERIES HISTORY
Montclair and Cortland will meet for the 15^th time in series history. The series is tied at 7-7, but the Red Dragons have taken the last three matchups against the Red Hawks.
