Montclair, NJ- The Montclair Men's Swimming and Diving team looks to finish strong as they close out the 2026 NJAC Championships on Sunday.

LAST TIME OUT
Day three ended with Montclair sitting in sixth place with 375.5 points. The finals kicked off with the 200 free relay. The mashup of BOBBY FREECE, MICHAEL WOJCIECHOWICZ, ADRIAN GONZALEZ, and PETER JARZAB placed seventh with a team time of 1:24.55. Salvatori had placed sixth in the preliminary round and ended up shaving off more than four seconds to earn his spot on the podium with his third-place finish of 3:59.06. Joining him in the finals was JARED GAYNOR, who competed in the bonus finals and clocked a 4:18.64 for 19th place. In the 100 fly, Jarzab earned himself a spot in the championship finals and ended up finishing sixth with a time of 49.45. MASON WOODS and Gonzalez each swam in the bonus finals with Woods placing 19th (51.61) and Gonzalez nabbing 21st (51.79). Freece led the way in the 200 free, competing in the consolation finals, where he took 15th with a time of 1:42.44. MAX SMILEVSKI and VINCENT TERZO qualified for the bonus finals. Smilevski took 18th place (1:42.41), and Terzo finished in 21st place (1:42.41). MATT DETTLINGER was the lone representative for Montclair in the 100 breast finals. He competed in the bonus finals, where he clocked a 56.95 to win his heat and placed 17th overall. In the 100 back, ANDREW PEARCE represented Montclair in the consolation finals. He touched the wall at 51.95 for 13th place and wrapped up the night for the Red Hawks.
