New Orleans, LA- Announced on Tuesday afternoon by the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA), the Montclair State University outdoor track and field team saw six of its student-athletes nab All-Metro Region honors in 2026.
The top-8 individuals in each event from each region on the year-end Athletic.net Descending Order Lists earned an All-Region distinction, in addition to each member of the region's top-8 relay teams. The regions used for this award – Great Lakes, Metro, Mid-Atlantic, Mideast, Midwest, Niagara, North, Northeast, South, and West – match those used during the cross-country season.

JAYSON ELLIS, and
ELIAS HANLEY.
Below is a list of the student-athletes and their events, their season-best mark, and how they placed on the All-Metro Region rankings.
Alvarez (Shot put): 14.79m (48' 6.25") at the Osprey Open on April 3. Fourth-best mark.
Hantsoulis (Javelin): 67.55m (221' 7") at the Stockton Invitational on March 20. Second-best mark.
Agyemang, Beal, Ellis, & Hanley (4x100): 41.51 at Penn Relays on April 23. Seventh-best mark.
It is the highest number of student-athletes that received All-Metro Region recognition in program history.
Hantsoulis represents the Red Hawks in the NCAA Division III National Championship meet on Saturday, May 23 in La Crosse, Wisconsin.
