La Crosse, WI – The Montclair State University Men's Track & Field team rounded out the 2026 season on Saturday afternoon, as
MARKOS HANTSOULIS competed in the javelin throw at the NCAA Division III Outdoor Track & Field Championships.
HOW IT HAPPENED
- Hantsoulis placed fifth in the event, notching a mark of 66.21m on his first throw of the day. He added in marks of 65.50m, 64.70m, 64.20m, and 62.59m during his flight, ranking as the top freshman among the field.
INSIDE THE RESULTS
- The freshman capped off his stellar rookie campaign with Montclair by being named First Team All-American.
- Montclair has notched a First Team All-American in back-to-back seasons on the men's side, the first time having All-Americans in consecutive seasons since 2007-2010.
- The Red Hawks finished the competition with an All-American on both the men's and women's side for the first time since 2009.
