    Fifth Season
Arguably one the finest players in Montclair State history, Craig Conway is back for his fifth season with the Red Hawks serving as the Associate Head Coach.   Conway, who serves as the third base coach on the field, was an integral part of one of the most successful stretches in MSU baseball history as he was named a three-time All-American (one of only two players) and set numerous records. During Conway's tenure, Montclair State posted a 141-47-2 mark, including a sparkling 62-10 ledger in NJAC play. Three times Conway led the Red Hawks to the NCAA Division III World Series, including the 2000 national championship ashe batted .375 with 10 RBI. MSU also won the New Jersey Athletic Conference crown twice and the Mid-Atlantic Regional three times. He was a four-time All-Region selection and was named the NJAC's Player of the Year and Male Athlete of the Year in 2001 as he also set the single-season record with 91 hits. Conway holds the career records for hits (290), doubles (66) and triples (17) and ranks on the Top-10 list in 12 other categories. Following his MSU career, Conway did not stray too far from Yogi Berra Stadium joining the New Jersey Jackals where he spent five years as a standout infielder. Like he did with the Red Hawks, Conway helped the Jackals to the 2001 and 2002 Northern League Championships and the 2004 Northeast League title. Conway holds a degree in Psychology from Montclair State and is currently pursuing his graduate degree in Coaching and Sports Management.
