Tobie, the NJAC Women's Basketball Player of the Week, is selected for the third time this year after averaging 20.5 points and 5.5 rebounds in two games as Montclair State knocked off William Paterson and Rutgers-Camden. She shot 75 percent (15-of-20) from the field and added three assists, three blocks and four steals. Tobie opened the week with 17 points and three rebounds as MSU swept rival William Paterson for the first time since the 2001-2002 season with a 75-62 victory at home. She then matched her season high with 24 points along with eight rebounds as Montclair State reached the 20-win mark for the first time since 2004 with a 65-49 win versus Rutgers-Camden. Tobie was 9-of-10 from the field in the game as MSU surpassed the longest winning streak in program history set by the 1978 AIAW Final Four squad. The 20-game winning streak is tied for the third-longest in athletic history matching the 2012 national runner-up field hockey team. Tobie currently ranks in the Top 15 in the NJAC this season in six different categories. The 2012 NJAC Rookie of the Year leads the conference in field goal percentage (.533) and is four in scoring (14.4 ppg), 14th in rebounding (5.9 rpg), sixth in free-throw percentage (.765), fourth in steals (3.1 per game) and third in blocked shots (1.3 per contest).
