Mangan, named the Skyline Conference Men's Lacrosse Player of the Week, helped keep the now-10th ranked Red Hawks unbeaten as Montclair State knocked off Ursinus and 16th-ranked St. Mary's College of Maryland last week raising MSU's record to 6-0, the best start for the program since the 2004 campiagn when it also won its first six games. Mangan scored 10 goals and added two assists while posting nine ground balls and a pair of caused turnovers. He finished with four goals, two assists and had four ground balls in the win over Ursinus as MSU outscored the Bears 6-0 in the final period for an 18-11 victory. Three days later Mangan scored six times, four in the 1st period, as MSU defeated a ranked team for the second time this season beating defending CAC champion St. Mary's (MD) 13-11. Mangan had five ground balls in the victory and also forced a turnover. Mangan currently leads the Skyline Conference in goals per game (3.17 gpg) and is second in points per contest (4.00 ppg). He has scored 19 goals and added five assists for 24 points through the first six contests.
