Roberson helped the Red Hawks get their 2017-18 season off to a great start as Montclair claimed the championship at the Stephanie Tubbs Jones Memorial Tournament at Case Western Reserve. Roberson scored 24 points and grabbed 14 rebounds as MSU won a shootout against Greenville University, 119-114. The next day he had 12 points along with eight rebounds helping the Red Hawks to the title with an 84-82 victory against Frostburg State.
