Montclair State University Athletics

Meth is named for the third time this season after helping Montclair State to its fourth straight Sykline Conference Tournament championship as the Red Hawks also earned an automatic bid to the NCAA Division III Men’s Lacrosse Championship. Meth was named the Most Valuable Player of the Tournament for the second straight season and third time overall as he scored seven goals and added an assist. He became the all-time leader in MSU history for goals scored as he netted five in the 17-5 win against Richard Stockton. Meth surpassed Keith VanNess’ record of 162 goals from 1991-1994. He then tallied two goals and an assist as the Red Hawks claimed the conference title with a 17-10 win over Kean.
