Hagel was named the New Jersey Athletic Conference Offensive Player of the Week after helping the ninth-ranked field hockey team get off to a 2-0 start. The senior tallied 12 points in the two wins scoring six times netting a hat trick in each contest. She opened the year with three of MSU’s four goals in a 4-0 win against Eastern. Two days later, she notched another hat-trick during an 8-2 win over Rensselaer.  Hagel, who had 11 goals in 2011, currently leads the NJAC in both points (12) and goals (6).
