Vallone was named the New Jersey Athletic Conference Swimmer of the Week after posting four first-place finishes and four second-place finishes in three meets as the Red Hawks swam three times, including three dual meets against Division I opponents. Vallone was second in the 50 free (25.63) and 100 breaststroke (1:11.17) in a 125.5-70.5 loss to Seton Hall. She then won the 50 (25.58) and 100 (56.25) freestyles and helped the 400 free relay team (3:59.46) to victory in a 154-103 loss to Misericordia. Vallone wrapped up the week finishing first in the 50 free (25.12) and second in the 200 free (55.22) as MSU earned a split in its tri-meet with St. Peter's College and Manhattan College.
