Cal Lutheran wouldget back two runs in the fourth and after MSU took a 4-2 lead inthe fifth, pulled within a run in the sixth as Jason Clarios hit a solo homer to make the score 4-3.
Then in the seventh,Stajcar homered with two outs to give CLU a 5-4 lead. After a pairof walks, Luttrell then blasted a three run shot to left for an8-4 advantage. RYAN COONEY capped off the inning with an RBI double.
Senior rightfielder Chria Baran (Cranford, NJ/Cranford) drove in a pair of runs forthe Red Hawks (4-1), who rallied from a 5-4 deficit with four runsin the seventh inning.
Kevin Rakowski (Rockaway, NJ/Morris Hills) suffered the loss, falling to 0-2 onthe season. Rakowski struck out 10 in 6 2/3 innings.
