JEFF GOGAL (Kearny, NJ/Kearny) hurled a two-hit shutout as fifth ranked Montclair State avenged Monday's loss to 19th ranked Rutgers-Camden 5-0 in seven innings Friday afternoon at Campbell's Field in New Jersey Athletic Conference action.

The game was called with two outs in the bottom of the seventh inning due to lightning and approaching inclement weather. At that point, Gogal had retired the last 16 batters. Gogal (6-1) walked one and fanned eight in the complete game shutout.

Montclair State improved to 19-8 overall and 8-4 in the NJ Athletic Conference (NJAC) with the win while Rutgers-Camden fell to 27-5 and 9-4 in the NJAC.
