Little Falls, NJ - Senior third baseman JOHN KRIVONAK (Canfield, OH/Canfield) drove in a run as eighth-ranked Johns Hopkins University defeated 30th-ranked Montclair State, 2-0 in a six-inning rain-shortened contest at Yogi Berra Stadium on Tuesday evening.
The Blue Jays (32-6), who have won 10 of their last 11 contests, scored both runs in the fourth. BEN TAYLOR (Pawling, NY/Trinity-Pawling) singled to lead off the inning and moved to second on a single by MIKE DePALMA (Norwalk, CT/Norwalk). After a strikeout, BRIAN MORELY (Tappan, NY/Don Bosco Prep) walked to load the bases. Krivonak then lofted a sacrifice fly for a 1-0 Blue Jay lead. DePalma then scored on an infield error for a two-run advantage.
The game was delayed an hour before being called in the sixth inning.
MATT RIGHTER (Clarion, PA/Lawrenceville Prep) picked up the victory in relief. Righter pitched a 1-2-3 fifth inning getting three fly outs. NEAL LYNCH (Pennington, NJ/Notre Dame) went the first four innings allowing four hits. He struck out one and walked one. 
JASON ARRE (Beachwood, NJ/Toms River South) took the loss surrendering two runs and eight hits in six innings. He struck out three and walked three as the Red Hawks (21-13) lost its fifth straight.
DePalma went 3-for-3 for Johns Hopkins.
