Salisbury, MD(5/10/02) - Slaisbury used three, two-run innings to defeat Montclair State 6-1 on Friday afternoon.

Scott Byers earned the victory, giving up one run and striking out four in six innings of work. Jason Ewing was 3-5 with one RBi and one run scored while Chris Keane was 2-2 with two runs scored and one RBI.

Senior COREY HAMMAN took the loss tossing 7 2/3 innings and striking out five. Today's five strikeouts give him a career total of 301, placing him second all-time in the MSU record books.

Shortstop BRIAN ELLERSON was 2-4, knocking in the Red Hawks only run of the game with a solo shot in the top of the sixth inning.
