South Orange, NJ (12/5/06) – Returning to the pool for the first time 17 days, the Montclair State men's and women's swimming and diving teams fell to Division I Seton Hall University on Tuesday evening.
The MSU men (3-3) dropped a 120-94 decision while the women's squad (2-4) fell, 154-68.
BRANDON SANDS (Easton, PA/Wilson Area) captured the 500 freestyle on the men's side (5:05.73) while
JESSICA PATALANO (Edison, NJ/Bishop Ahr) took the same honors on the women's side with a time of (5:46.14).
TRACEY GROEL (Succasunna, NJ/Roxbury) was victorious in the 100 breaststroke as she registered a time of 1:14.64. Joe Sweeney (Highland Lakes, NJ/Vernon) won took first place in the 100 breaststroke (1:14.64) and diver
MARC SEEMON (North Plainfield, NJ/Union Catholic) won the three-meter section with 154.20 points.
Montclair returns to action on Saturday, December 9 as the Red Hawks head to Pennsylvania to take on College Misericordia at 1:00 pm.
