CONNOR LINDSAY allowed a run of 6 2/3 innings for his second victory while
IAN LYNCH had two hits and two RBI as Montclair State closed out its Florida trip with a 7-1 victory over Nebraska Wesleyan at the RussMatt Invitational on Friday.

CONNOR KELLY also collected two RBI as the Red Hawks went 6-1 on their spring trip and head back to New Jersey with an 8-3 overall record. Montclair is scheduled to play its home opener on Thursday, March 15 against Old Westbury.
Lindsay improved to 2-0 on the season as he gave four hits, struck out four and walked three.
ANTHONY DEBLASIO struck out two in his 1 1/3 innings of work with
SHANE YOUNG tossing a scoreless ninth to complete the victory.
Montclair pushed across a run in the first.
BRODY LABBE walked with one out and stole second and third base before coming home on a ground out by
JOE NORTON. The Red Hawks added to the lead in the bottom of the sixth. Lynch singled home
NICK MARTINEZ with the first run and
JUSTIN BATES delivered an RBI single for a 3-0 lead.
ANDREW OLLWERTHER scored on an error for the final run.
After Nebraska Wesleyan plated a run in the seventh, the Red Hawks countered with three in their half of the inning. Lynch drove in Norton, who singled and stole two of the seven bases by MSU in the game. Kelly later added a two-run double scoring Martinez and pinch runner
