Union, NJ – The Montclair State women's swimming and diving team evened its record at 2-2 on the season and picked up its first NJAC victory of the year as the Red Hawks defeated Kean 108-77 on Tuesday evening.

DANI ZIMMERMAN and
SOPHIA CIARAVINO got MSU off to a good start as the quartet combined to win the 200 medley relay with a time of 1:50.47. Ciaravino added a victory in the 200 freestyle (2:10.77) with Vogel leading a 1-2-3 finish in the 200 individual medley. Vogel swam 2:24.48 with
ERIN BARRETT clocking in at 2:28.00 and
MOLLY GRAY at 2:34.75.
Gray added a win of her own in the 100 butterfly (1:06.36). Rothamel and Barrett went 1-2 in the 100 backstroke with times of 1:03.96 and 1:04.91, respectively while Vogel captured the 100 breaststroke with a time of 1:14.98. Barrett, Gray, Rothamel and
TAYLOR WADDLETON finished off the night for the Red Hawks with a victory in the 200 freestyle relay (1:51.90).
Montclair State returns to action as both the men and the women head to Glassboro, NJ on Friday, November 8 for an NJAC dual meet matchup with Rowan University.
