Bethlehem, PA – Pinch-hitter Mike Mitti doubled home the go-ahead run and later scored on a squeeze play in the seventh inning as Moravian College knocked off Montclair State 4-2 on Wednesday afternoon.
First baseman Evan Kulig went 3-for-4 with an RBI as the Greyhounds improved to 6-7 on the season. Brendon Caraway (1-1) collected the victory in relief striking out four in two innings of work. Tyler Caraway fanned three in the final two innings for the save, his first of the year.
HAYDEN REYES went 3-for-3 with an RBI for the Red Hawks, who fell to 5-5.
MATTHEW MINCIELI (0-1) suffered the loss.
JONATHAN ANDERSON went the first six innings allowing two runs and five hits, striking out five and walking one.

ANDREW OLLWERTHER with the game's first run. Reyes brought Martinez around with a single. Moravian answered in its half of the inning. Kulig delivered the first run with a triple and David Bertolotti's RBI single knotted the game at 2-2.
The Greyhounds took the lead in the seventh. Markowski led off with a double and scored one batter later when Mitti doubled to left field giving Moravian a 3-2 lead. With runners at the corners and one out, Miceli laid down the sacrifice extending the lead to two runs.
Montclair would get the tying run to the plate in the ninth with one out however Tyler Caraway struck out the next batter and got a fly out to end the game.
