Union, NJ – Kean University's Mike Perone doubled home two runs and Frank LoGiudice added a run-scoring single as the Cougars scored three times in the eighth inning for 9-7 victory over Montclair State at Jim Hynes Stadium on Thursday afternoon.

LoGiudice went 3-for-4 and also pitched the first 6 1/3 innings as the late-inning rally helped Kean (23-11, 9-3 NJAC) sweep the home-and-home series with the Red Hawks (10-21, 1-11 NJAC). BRODY LABBE and JUSTIN BATES each drove in a pair of runs for the Red Hawks.
