Montclair, NJ - It was one of the greatest victories in Montclair State history and it took place a half-century ago today.
Celebrate the 50th anniversary of the 1970 Montclair State football team, which capped off this outstanding season on the makeshift grass field inside the Atlantic City Convention Center with a 7-6 victory over Hampden Sydney, 7-6.
